If you have not had electrolysis before, a consultation and test patches should be undertaken. Initially, intensive treatments will require three, four or five consecutive days. These are then repeated some five to six weeks later to align with the hair growth cycle. The number of days reduces as your treatment progresses. We are highly experienced in delivering this treatment and use the ultimate in
Apilus technology
for expeditious treatments and client comfort.

Progress is assessed continuously and 50 hour increments are the maximum we advise you to commit to at each stage of treatment.

Timescales
Our bespoke, intensive treatment plans have proved to be expedient and cost effective. Whilst also minimising the number of visits for treatment, which reduces cost and affords more time living without the need to grow out your facial hair.
It is important to understand the hair growth cycle and that all forms of electroepilation are progressive in their results. This link is to TS Roadmap which provides an impartial illustration of treatment times gained from those who have received treatments elsewhere.
My own facial hair took some 230 hours of treatment and was spread over two and a half years. This was nearly 30 years ago and much has changed in equipment and in methods for our treatment. Our experience based intensive treatment plans offer many benefits, whilst being totally focussed on your wellbeing.
When your treatment hours have been reserved we will enter dates and a treatment cycle which best meets your needs. Generally this is based on a five to six week cycle, but this can be accelerated to gain more visible results during the early stages of treatment.
Treatment schedule
- We have found that 4 hours treatment per day is optimal and readily manageable. with breaks every hour and a break for lunch.
- During the early stages of treatment it is beneficial to return three weeks after your first session to enable a fuller clearance.
- First session: 20 to 25 hours (4 to 5 days)
- Then: 5 to 6 weeks later, of 20 to 25 hours (4 to 5 days)
- Subsequent sessions are then based at 5 to 6 week intervals.
The second treatment is likely to be a similar number of hours to the first treatment, as the hair which was in the resting phase of the hair growth cycle will now be visible and can be treated. The cycle continues at 5 to 6 week intervals, during which the number of hours progressively reduce as the hair ceases to grow back.

Please note:
- All treatments will be subject to your well-being and are assessed as the treatment progresses.
- This treatment aims to address the darker shade hair on the face first, as this is always most visible and the hardest to conceal with makeup. Hair on the neck is treated once the facial hair is in the control stage.
- Then the lightly coloured and white hairs are cleared leaving your skin fresh and smooth to the touch.
- Regular breaks are taken every hour to allow you to relax in preparation for the following session.
